Central Chorus Students Audition for All-State Chorus

(Carrollton, Ga. – December 10, 2014) Central High School Chorus students Caleb Williams and Elijah Green are moving into the second round of Georgia All-State Chorus auditions. Each student prepared and sang a solo in Italian, along with singing major, minor, and chromatic scales for two judges. Competitors were then asked to sight read three examples of music, two in major key and one in a minor key. Finally, competitors completed a written test and audition test. Second round auditions take place in January.

Six-time STAR teacher, Alice taught Advanced Placement English, literature, composition, speech and theater for over twenty years, part of which time she also served as Director of Admissions, Development, Public Relations, and Alumni at Oak Mountain Academy. She is the managing partner of Ridley-Teal Properties and content editor for the City Menus. She is a board member of the Carroll Symphony Orchestra and enjoys playing flute with the Carroll Community Wind Ensemble.
