Gap Now Gone for 1 Year

Story from One Year Ago

Personally I am shocked and completely saddened by this closure. Gap will close for good on January 26th at Arbor Place Mall. Since opening at Arbor Place Mall, I have bought many items at this particular Gap. In fact I have worn Gap since a child. Anyway enough about me. Currently Gap at Arbor Place Mall is having normal sales but no closing sales. Most of the inventory is being boxed up and possibly sent to other stores. Workers were also transferred to other Gap Stores in the area. The closest Gap to the Douglasville location is in Cobb County at The Avenues in West Cobb off Dallas Highway. No reason was given for this particular closure, however another Gap closed at Quintard Mall in Oxford, AL not to long ago. The Gap in Rome, GA also closed several years ago. The Arbor Place Mall Gap will be particularly missed by me.
