Take A Trip To Whitesburg You Might Be Surprised!

A trip to Whitesburg takes no more than 20 minutes from Carrollton and has lots to offer the retail explorer. Most people tend to just travel through Whitesburg at 35 mph but don’t stop and enjoy this small exciting community. Entering Whitesburg you will find Harvey’s House of Books with many bargains for the insightful reader. As you travel on through the town make sure you see the state of the art Library and it’s history wall. Once finished at the Library visit a Touch of Paradise which is currently a tanning salon, hair salon, and a small boutique. Soon a name change to Hey Ya’ll Boutique will take place in April as the owner is looking to sale the tanning salon and hair salon. The business will focus primarily on embroidering and it’s boutique. In the boutique you will find children’s clothes, handmade soaps & handcrafted items, along with unique gift baskets. Hey Ya’ll Boutique is located at 1025C Main Street. You can check out their Facebook by clicking here.

Hey Ya’ll Boutique – Whitesburg

Continuing from Hey Ya’ll Boutique you must stop at Gloria’s Country Collectables. Inside the antique palace you will find numerous items that came from your grandmother’s basement. On Monday’s live bluegrass music will greet you and loosing track of time might happen as you just sing right along! See The Carrollton Menu Instagram for a musical sensation. The prices are incredible on many items such as the collectible NASCAR stock cars and trucks. We found a nice cast iron skillet for just $7. The store also features toys that I remember playing with when I was a kid. Many I wished I still had. So many incredible finds on our trip including a George Beverly Shea record that plays really well. Gloria’s Country Collectables is located at 717 Main Street. You can find them on Facebook by clicking here.

We are so happy to have them as a partner of The Carrollton Menu.
