During my last years of High School at Central High I worked at the Carrollton Target store till I graduated college. Over that time I was able to meet Mrs. Sherry Smith on several occasions, practically everyday! She always greeted me with a smile and calling me by name. We always talked for a good 5 minutes each time she appeared at the store. For those of you who don’t know Mrs. Sherry is battling with breast cancer and needs the community’s help. A raffle drawing will take place on Feb 20th, 2015 to help with medical bills and expenses. $5 for 1 Ticket or $20 for 5 Tickets. Tickets can be purchased at Daniel M. Barnes West GA Attorney’s office, Smokin Pig in Bowdon, AAA Private Self Storage, and Courthouse Cafe through Friday.
The gift cards are being donated by Billy Bob’s, Chick-fil-A, Don Rich Ford, Courthouse Cafe, Club fitness, Highland Deli, Little Hawaiian, Georgia Theater Company, Jazi Salon, Kroger, West GA Spine Center, Moe’s, Irish Bred Pub, and more.
