We were notified around 5:30pm of a Sink Hole that had opened up in the First Tuesday Mall parking lot. At 5:45pm we arrived on the scene to checkout the hole in the parking lot near Citi Trends. Carrollton Police were on the scene not allowing anyone to get close to it. A few moments later some police tape arrived to barricade off the area. Many folks have commented on our social media about this particular happening today. Some even noted the amounts of cracks lately in the pavement. This section of the parking lot was just paved a few months ago. First Tuesday Mall was purchased by RCG Ventures for 4.35 Million in May of last year. No word on the cause of the sinkhole.
