Bethesda Baptist Church in Carrollton located at 1539 Bethesda Church Rd. had a fire on their campus July 17, 2013. Just about a year later from the fire in August of 2014 Bethesda Baptist Church began the rebuilding process. Bethesda Baptist Church selected Lovvorn Construction to complete the renovations. The church converted the nursery into an office building and also gave the building a facelift on the outside. A drive thru canopy was also added so members and visitors to the church can be dropped off without battling the elements outside. Major upgrades were made to the Family Life Center. The Family Life Center was modified on the interior to add 10 new classroom spaces. The Worship space in the Family Life Center now features a vaulted ceiling and brand new carpet. The newly renovated gym has a new hard rubber floor for their basketball court. A new lobby area has also been added to the Family Life Center. Among the above renovations the Church also added additional parking spaces. Bethesda Baptist Church held their first service in the new space on February 22nd 2015.
