Sandwich shop lovers rejoice! Another new food place will make Douglasville home in the future. The owners of Jimmy Johns have confirmed that Douglasville is in their future plans and hopes to have a store up and running sometime in the next year. Currently planning and site selection is underway for the restaurant, but at this time we are not sure if the store will be a freestanding store like pictured above, or will be a store located in a shopping center and whether that will be in a current shopping center or one that is planned for the future. Currently Metro Atlanta has a healthy mix of both type stores. Jimmy Johns currently has stores in all Metro counties, and just recently opened a store in Carrollton. Â Jimmy Johns is a sandwich shop similar to Subway or Jersey Mikes but promises “freaky fast service”. Jimmy Johns is unique from those chains and others in that they offer a delivery service to locations in the immediate area surrounding the store. Location and opening are still to be determined, as soon as we have either for you, we will bring that to you.
