Local Salon Closes, Tattoo Parlor Set to Tag In.

Former Salon, will soon be a Tattoo Parlor.

Early in March, a salon called Lady by Fran Dion closed next to the Exxon on the corner of Bright Star Rd and Douglas Blvd. The same salon also at one point owned an accessories store on the opposite end of that same strip mall. Marcos Pizza now owns that end of the strip and is doing quite well. No reason was given for the closure and attempts to reach out to owners turned up nothing. But as one door closes, another will open. The city is expected tonight to approve a rezoning request from the owners of a tattoo parlor on Long Island to allow for them to open an independant Douglasville location. At this time, no name is known for the shop nor is the expected opening date. But once the ink dries, we will let you know.
