Plans for a new Greenspace area directly off the Greenbelt next to Lake Carroll Mall were unveiled to us last week. Earth Park is a collaboration with SCRAP Bin which is located in Lake Carroll Mall. The concept created by Carrollton resident, Alan Kuykendall will be adjacent to the Greenbelt on the former Big Lots side. Earth Park will have community designed mosaic stepping stones, rock sculptures, park benches, picnic tables, plants, and natural rock installs. This will provide a tranquil setting to sit and be in peace. The park is expected to open sometime this summer and needs your help. Without the community’s involvement this could not be possible!
