The new Dairy Queen off Hwy 27 near Maple Street currently is laying down pavement for parking. We spoke to the manager earlier during the week who gave us an update on the opening. The restaurant will not be opening on May 1st as we reported a few weeks ago. A construction contractor reported that date to us but as of now it is not correct. As you know it has rained a good bit the last few weeks. Now that the last few days have been dry, pavement could be laid. We hope to have pictures from the inside very soon!
