Dollar General Exiting The “Urban Sprawl”

IMG_4096

Update 8/31/15 : DG will relocate to this new location on US 27 just south of Walmart on September 30th. Another DG is being built across from Smallwoods on Hwy 166.

Past Story

The current Dollar General location on Highway 27 near Walmart will soon exit the “Urban Sprawl” for a rural location just a few miles south down Highway 27. The new store will be relocated to Gray Rd at Highway 27. This is just feet from Oak Grove Rd. The small rectangular building was just torn down a few days ago and grading has begun for the new store. As you might recall the business (Elite Golf Cars) directly next door recently moved to Highway 61 near Sandhill. This particular Dollar General store will be in the County and not in the city limits. Dollar General celebrated a Grand Opening of the Clem location a few weeks ago. Look for an opening in the coming months for the new Dollar General off Highway 27 at Gray Rd.
