(Carrollton, Ga. May 12, 2015) The Temple Middle School’s Track team attended the 2015 Georgia Middle School State Track Meet held at Parkview High School. With over 1100 middle schoolers present and 77 schools and clubs represented, the level of competition was high. Temple Middle School had several top 25 finishes at this statewide event. Eighth grader, Elijah Thomas won the state high jump championship. Elijah was awarded first place out of 34 high jumpers. Elijah Thomas is the first State Track Champion from Temple Middle School. Elijah was coached by Joey Wilson and Kristin Vineyard.
