Carrollton City Schools, Carrollton Public Safety, Carroll County Public Safety, Georgia Emergency Management Agency and Tanner Health System will be conducting an active shooter exercise drill on Wednesday, May 27 from 8-12pm at the Carrollton Elementary School. Exercise drills are important tools to help reinforce disaster preparedness, and give faculty the skills they need to respond in a real-world scenario. This is only an exercise drill, and no one will be in harm’s way as a result.
A Joint Information Center will be established in the Board Meeting Room at 106 Trojan Drive, Carrollton, with representatives from Carrollton City Schools, Carrollton Public Safety and Tanner present.
