Opening Soon where Make A Cake Cupcake recently celebrated their opening comes a new bistro with a bit of Jazz fare. Located in the Shoppes of Chapel Hill where Burke’s Grill, Findley’s Butcher Shop as well as Knuckle Up Fitness are located, Kajan’s Jazz Bistro will soon open to offer patrons on the South Side of Douglas County as the owners describe “contemporary creole cuisine while enjoying a great Jazzy atmosphere”. Their website also indicates that they will be offering catering options and event planning services. We were forwarded their Facebook page and at last update they were planning on opening sometime this month, no word on whether that has changed or not. They were also auditioning for their house band and looking for waiting staff. We are looking forward to a new local option opening up for the Chapel Hill corridor and sort of “jazzed” at the music option. If we get anymore information regarding an opening date or grand opening celebration, we will keep you posted.
