A few weeks ago, we had several tips into us about the work being done at the old hooters building on Concourse Pkwy directly next to Sam’s Club. We had a source inside the city confirm to us that it was a mexican restaurant but the owner or name was not known at the time. As of last weekend, we still didn’t know. In the Sentinel this past week and a point in the right direction from follower Richard Segal, appeared a pouring licence application  from the owners of a chain Mexican Place with locations in Canton, Cumming and Dallas known as Los Maguey and the riddle appears to be solved. We went by today to see any progress on the location and so far there has been no work done on the former hooters location except the exterior paint job. We will keep you posted about any progress made on the site, when they will announce an opening date or construction timeframe, or if the city approves the pouring licence. For now, expect the vacant restaurant to soon be buzzing with life again.
Hat tip again to Richard Segal for the tip!
