Temple Middle School Holds Annual 6th Grade Camp

Camp

On Monday, July 20th, Temple Middle School held their 3rd Annual 6th Grade Camp and Parent Orientation Session. The camp is designed to take away the first day of school jitters and to calm parent fears of middle school. Students were given a copy of their schedule, their locker combination, and their TMS Pride t-shirt. Parent sessions included what to expect of middle school and 6th grade expectations along with a question and answer session. Parents were given the opportunity to meet with the school nurse, work with transportation officials for bus information, purchase lockers, and order spirit wear. After the student and parent sessions, parents joined their students to meet teachers and follow the child’s schedule. A hotdog luncheon was severed after camp. Over 147 parents and students attended the camp.
