Breaking: FYE Making A Possible Return To Arbor Place Mall

A new FYE concept store in the Northeast, more compact and returning soon to Arbor Place Mall

An old name and fan favorite in music and movies is returning to Arbor Place Mall. FYE Music and Movies closed at Arbor Place back in early 2014 making way for Books A Million to occupy the top floor spot as well as a new spot for another retailer near Dillard’s. FYE in late 2013 was going through a bit of restructuring and was shedding stores across the country. It appears now that the trend has reversed itself. We got word today from construction bid documents that FYE is going to try again at Arbor Place with a smaller, more compact store. The previous store was 10,000 sq/ft of books, movies, music and merchandise. The new space, which for now the exact location is still being worked on, is only going to be just shy of 4,000 sq/ft. FYE is trying out the new concept of compact stores in other parts of the country.

This story is still developing and the moment we get a location space confirmed for you, we will share it. The return of FYE will take the number of unleased spaces at Arbor Place Mall down to 4 after going up to 5 after our last update.

*We have reached out to Arbor Place Mall numerous times for comment. They have not responded to voicemails. In the past we have asked for comments with previous stories and no response given. Hopefully someone from the Mall will stumble upon the article and respond with more clarity. We enjoy Arbor Place Mall and hope that we can bring quick and accurate information to you in the near future.
