Almost immediately after R. DuBose Jewelers closed, Blue Fern Merchant was already making extensive preparations to move in. We spotted someone looking at the location months ago, in turn they informed us a new retail store would be opening here. The Blue Fern Merchant will show off collections of many vintage finds. Artisan goods and interior design services will also be offered at 5 Greenville Street. Lori and Staci will soon celebrate a Grand Opening at Blue Fern Merchant. The name comes from their Grandmothers, Blue – from their dad’s mother, Evelyn Blue Gillson, and Fern from their mom’s mother, Fern Isabelle Tompkins. Please visit their Facebook page for more updates and pictures. We are looking forward to see something else in this historic space for another 25+ Years!
