A Portion of Tyus Road Receives Improvements

IMG_0343

A portion of Tyus Road in Carrollton is currently in the process of receiving wider lanes. Along with wider lanes part of the road is also being repaved. The improvements to the road are from Highway 166 to Bethesda Church Road. The road will receive new striping as well as new reflective markings on the road. The widening portion of the project has been made possible through the use of SPLOST (Special Local Option Sales Tax) funds. The repaving part of the project comes from the Georgia Department of Transportation Local Maintenance and Improvement grant. Please use caution in this area as workers finish this project.
