(Carrollton, Ga. August 17, 2015) Mt. Zion Elementary Teacher Stephanie Sharpton was awarded $1500.00 as part of Southwire’s Project Gift 11th Annual Back to School giveaway on July 18th. As a part of the “My Favorite Teacher Is…” contest, Mrs. Sharpton was nominated by one of her former students. She will be allowed to use this money to purchase supplies for her first grade classroom.
