Amy Goss, MD, is returning to Carrollton to advance health in the region, joining West Georgia Obstetrics and Gynecology and the medical staff of Tanner Health System.
Dr. Goss earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta and completed her internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. While earning her bachelor’s in chemistry at the University of West Georgia, she worked as a patient advocate in the emergency department at Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton.
She is a member of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and the Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine.
As a member of the medical staff at Tanner, Dr. Goss will offer maternity care at the W. Steve Worthy Maternity Center at Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton and gynecological care options at Tanner’s surgical services units in Carrollton, Villa Rica and Bremen.
West Georgia Obstetrics and Gynecology is the practice of Megan Grilliot, MD, Frederick Martin, MD, and Joan Zeller, MD. Six-time STAR teacher, Alice taught Advanced Placement English, literature, composition, speech and theater for over twenty years, part of which time she also served as Director of Admissions, Development, Public Relations, and Alumni at Oak Mountain Academy.
