You are invited to show your appreciation for the Bowdon Police Department this Thursday at 10 a.m. at City Hall in Bowdon.
In light of the ever-increasing assault on law enforcement, we are asking residents of Bowdon to join us in letting our men and women in uniform know we support them and we have their back.
We are commanded in Scripture to pray for those who are in authority that we might live peaceful and quiet lives. ( I Tim. 2:1-2). Without the law enforcement community there can be no peaceful and quiet living in our communities.
This will be the sixth gathering of local citizens meeting to offer prayer for those who wear the uniform and protect the citizens of our Carroll County.
Please circulate this announcement. Post it on your Facebook page, email it to your buddies. Bring family and friends. We ask that you bring some homemade goodies (brownies, cookies, or candy) to leave with the officers. If you can’t find the time to bake then head to one of our good bakeries and pick up something to show your support.
The gathering will last 30 minutes. Prayers will be offered by community leaders, and residents. I hope you will join us.
