Michael Stone of Milestone Investment Management Honored with 2015 Five Star Wealth Manager Award

Five Star Professional is pleased to announce Michael L. Stone, CEO & Founder of Milestone Investment Management, LLC has been chosen as one of the Atlanta area’s Five Star Wealth Managers for 2015. Five Star Professional partnered with Atlanta Magazine to recognize a select group of Atlanta area wealth managers who provide quality services to their clients. Stone is featured, along with other award winners, in a special section of the October issue.

The Five Star Wealth Manager award program is the largest and most widely published award program in the financial services industry. The award is based on a rigorous, multifaceted research methodology which incorporates input from peers and firm leaders along with client retention rates, industry experience and a thorough regulatory history review.

Stone has been a Financial Advisor for 18 years, in addition to having over 24 years of experience in Commercial Banking. He holds series 7 and 63 registrations with LPL Financial as well as his series 66 with LPL Financial and IFG Advisory, LLC. Stone has also achieved the designations of Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS) conferred by the College for Financial Planning and Professional Plan Consultant (PPC) designation by Financial Service Standards, a division of fi360, Inc. (Pittsburgh, PA). He received his Bachelor of Science from Louisiana State University, and went on to graduate from LSU’s Graduate School of Banking. He is married to Andrea Hutchins Stone and has resided in Carrollton since 1994. Stone is active in the Carrollton Community. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce and the Board of Directors of the Carroll Symphony Orchestra. He is a member of the Carrollton Dawn Breakers Rotary Club and the Fairfield Kiwanis Club. Stone has served as Chairman of the Finance Committee at First Baptist Church and is currently serving on the First Baptist Church Board of Trustees. He also teaches an adult Sunday school class at FBC.

Stone specializes in building investment strategies for individuals and business owners, including financial planning for those building wealth for their future, insurance and risk management for persons concerned about protecting their wealth, and retirement planning designed to help individuals seek the challenges of reaching their retirement income goals.
