Central Middle School Ladies Golf Team Wins Middle School Championship

(Carrollton, Ga. – October 20, 2015) The Central Middle School ladies golf team won the West Georgia Middle School league championship on Wednesday, October 14, at Oak Mountain Golf Course. The team has had an outstanding season and capped it off with a championship trophy. In addition to the team’s accomplishment, Loralie Cowart shot the lowest girls score of the tournament with a score of 42. The team is coached by David Bush. Team members from left to right: Maddie Singleton, Loralie Cowart, Allie Kate Ellison, and Emma Grizzard.

Six-time STAR teacher, Alice taught Advanced Placement English, literature, composition, speech and theater for over twenty years, part of which time she also served as Director of Admissions, Development, Public Relations, and Alumni at Oak Mountain Academy. She is the managing partner of Ridley-Teal Properties and content editor for the City Menus. She is a board member of the Carroll Symphony Orchestra and enjoys playing flute with the Carroll Community Wind Ensemble.
