(Carrollton, Ga. October 28, 2015) Two Bowdon Middle School teachers and their principal were among the 60 educators selected by GA Power for their dedication, passion, and talent in teaching in the STEM fields of study. A twoday professional development experience was held at the Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta where educators from across the state attended workshops and observed classrooms within the nationally recognized institute. Carroll County School board member Bart Cater initiated the application procedures and supported Mr. Estes and his teachers throughout the process. “We are so proud of the great things happening in our school, and I hope this opportunity will spark continued innovation within our classrooms,” said Mrs. Kiley Thompson, Assistant Principal at Bowdon Middle School.
