Bay Springs Middle School Student Council Members Attend 5th Annual Leadership Summit

(Carrollton, Ga. ­ November 4, 2015) Eight Bay Springs Middle School Student Council members and two advisors attended the 5th annual Leadership Summit at the Georgia State Capitol on Monday, November 2, 2015. The theme of this year’s summit was Liberty and Leadership. Students and advisors heard speakers and attended a workshop where they had the opportunity to learn valuable leadership skills.

Students who attended: Grace O’Driscoll, Emma Flynn, Jennie Rocha, Parth Patel, Jasmine Holloman, Katelyn Lingerfelt, Tyson Jones, Ethan Bradley. Teachers/Advisors who attended:Melissa Barclay and Emily Thomas.

Six-time STAR teacher, Alice taught Advanced Placement English, literature, composition, speech and theater for over twenty years, part of which time she also served as Director of Admissions, Development, Public Relations, and Alumni at Oak Mountain Academy. She is the managing partner of Ridley-Teal Properties and content editor for the City Menus. She is a board member of the Carroll Symphony Orchestra and enjoys playing flute with the Carroll Community Wind Ensemble.
