(Carrollton, Ga. – November 30, 2015) Bay Springs Middle School Band has been awarded a $10,000 grant from the Community Foundation of West Georgia. Each of the 63 applications was carefully reviewed by active community volunteers, and the top ranking applications were forwarded to the full Board for a vote. Mr. Brad Kingsley, BSMS Music Teacher/Band Director submitted the grant to gain funds to be used to provide additional music opportunities for BSMS students.
