Temple High School’s FBLA Hosts Fundraiser

(Carrollton, Ga. – December 7, 2015) The Temple FBLA recently hosted fundraisers to contribute to the March of Dimes. The March of Dimes is a nonprofit organization that raises money to help both premature babies and their mothers as well as fund research and programs to reduce the percentage of premature births. This year’s fundraisers included a homeroom coin collection as well as participation in the 23Annual NightWalk at Callaway Gardens. The club raised $310 by placing coin boxes in each teacher’s classroom, where students could donate to the foundation. To increase their total donation amount, club members attended the 23Annual Night Walk at Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Georgia, on Saturday, November 14, 2015. The NightWalk route stretched five miles along Callaway Garden’s scenic drive which was decorated in dozens of larger-than-life holiday scenes tailored to holiday musical arrangements. Ticket sales from this event were also donated to The March of Dimes. Over all, Temple High School’s FBLA donated a total of $600.
