Over the Christmas holiday, we got a construction alert for a S. Paulding retailer that’s about to go through a minor renovation. The Kroger located at Ridge Rd and Dallas Nebo Rd in S. Paulding will be getting an alteration specifically for the Produce and Floral Departments beginning the first week of April. According to construction documents, work is set to begin on April 4 to replace fixtures, redesign the produce and Floral departments and update a few areas of the Meat and Seafood Departments. The bulk of the work will be on the Floral and Produce departments with new refrigeration cases and the removal of island cases and updated to new Kroger standards. Floral will be moved over to the Produce area of the store. In addition, some minor paint and patch work will be done around the store to update any fixtures needing a tune up. This renovation for the Ridge Rd store comes on the heels of a major refrigeration case update to the Hospital Dr Kroger beginning in February. The Hospital Dr Kroger just recently finished their reset and update to their grocery departments, now cases will be replaced and similar patch work will be done to that store before Ridge Rd is scheduled.
