Carroll County Schools ESOL Testing Night

(Carrollton, Ga. – January 27, 2016) The ESOL Department of Carroll County Schools hosted an ESOL Parent’s Testing Night on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at the Carroll County Board of Education. Parents were provided information about local assessments, Georgia Milestones, and the ACCESS Assessment for ESOL students. The next ESOL Parent Outreach will focus on math and is scheduled for March 24, 2016. A special thanks goes out to Ms. Erin Ortiz and Mrs. Michelle Arana for providing interpreting services and to Mrs. Cindy Parker, Principal of Mt. Zion Elementary, for providing additional testing information for the parents.

Six-time STAR teacher, Alice taught Advanced Placement English, literature, composition, speech and theater for over twenty years, part of which time she also served as Director of Admissions, Development, Public Relations, and Alumni at Oak Mountain Academy. She is a board member of the Carroll Symphony Orchestra and enjoys playing flute with the Carroll Community Wind Ensemble.
