We got word from the city on several current retailers and restaurants that are about to get facelifts and upgrades to their locations in and around Douglasville, as well as some new additions coming soon.  Several locations around Douglasville, such as O’Charley’s, have made changes in the past few years to keep their establishments modern and welcoming. We received a good list of several places that are about to upgrade their facilities over the next few months:

KFC locations at both Thornton Road and Highway 5 are in the planning stages

Sunglasses Hut at Arbor Place Mall

Outback Steakhouse on Douglas Boulevard near Arbor Place Mall

Holiday Inn on Concourse Parkway

Shell Station on Fairburn Road and Spring Strreet

Stewart Parkway Medical on Stewart Parkway at Douglasville Town Center

In addition we have a few well-known eateries headed to town as well. At this time, their locations are not known, but look for more information on the following in the coming days and weeks:

Little Caesars Pizza:  Home to the $5 ready-made pizza, locations everywhere it seems other than Douglasville (not for long!)

Golden Krust: Chain Carribean cuisine and home to popular Jamaican Beef Patties, locations in Kennesaw, Morrow, Union City, Snellville and Stone Mountain

We’ll keep you posted!
