We received word last week of a closing, this time a long-opened furniture store off Hospital Drive near the courthouse. American Fine Furniture Outlet, which opened in 2002 after the plant store and nursery that had occupied that space closed, is now itself closing. We went by earlier this week to see a closing reduction sale going on now at the store. .We tried to get info on why they are closing and any word on future plans, but as of today we haven’t heard back from anyone working at the store. It’s always sad to see a business close up, and we wish the owners and employees best wishes moving forward. We’ll keep our eye out for any replacement store that plans to set up in this location.
