Old Shoney’s to Become Buffalo Wild Wings

A famous sports bar chain is bringing a location to Newnan. We confirmed today that the old Shoney’s at 355 Bullsboro Drive has been sold to Buffalo Wild Wings. Over the last several weeks, tips had been flowing in that activity was taking place at the restaurant location near Newnan Crossing Boulevard. Originally rumored to be a different restaurant (Cheddar’s), that idea was busted today after we received an email from Ed Lee at the Capital Properties Group who was the company tapped to sell the property. No word yet on a completion timeline or opening date.

You might remember that Shoney’s closed in June of 2015, before Shoney’s this particular restaurant was a Bugaboo Creek Steakhouse. Click Here for that previous story.
