A once-mobile embroidery business has traded in tires for concrete in Villa Rica. 2 Sew 4 U Embroidery opened its permanent store just three weeks ago at 214 West Montgomery Street. A family-owned business started by Carolene Cox, the beginnings of the shop trace back to an RV with embroidery machines mounted in it that would travel to different events and swap meets. As the business expanded and had to obtain more equipment, it moved into the owner’s garage until it found its new home in downtown Villa Rica. 2 Sew 4 U’s offerings have now expanded to include screen printing and vinyl services filling both personal orders and business and government contracts.
