An off-campus bookstore near UWG has said goodbye to Carrollton. We learned on Friday that Dorks Textbooks has officially closed its location at the corner of Lovvorn Road and Brumbelow Road. Almost all fixtures have been removed from the store and a brand new sign advertising a space for lease has been placed in front of the shopping complex where the bookstore existed. Their social media has also been inactive since April 26, just before UWG’s spring semester ended. A further check of their website confirmed that the location is closed and gave instructions for those who rented books from Dorks on where to return them.
