A long-time family-run Bar-B-Q staple in Carrollton is undergoing a renovation. Billy Bob’s Bar-B-Q at 811 South Park Street is making some minor changes to the interior of the restaurant. So far they have covered the walls in a light colored wainscoting and painted the trim a dark grey. Still to come, the tables will be replaced with new custom-built ones, and the benches that were there are being refinished. The chairs currently in the restaurant are rentals until the benches return. Nevertheless, the popular Bar-B-Q joint is open its normal business hours during the remodel, and they just ask that you pardon their progress as they complete it.
