Eyewear Retailer Makes A Move

America's Best makes the move down the street to their new home.
America’s Best makes the move down the street to their new home.

We got a tip last week about a long-time retailer located at Douglasville Pavilion on Chapel Hill Road making the move to another location inside the same shopping center. We rode by this weekend to find that America’s Best Eyeglasses and Contacts has moved to the old Anna’s Linens location in the same building as GameStop and Big Lots. Their former location next to PetSmart is now vacant, along with the old Rack Room Shoes location. This could be a setup for something major to come, but at this time the site is listed as available.  America’s Best left room for one small shop located at the very end of the strip for a local retailer or possibly a small national retailer. We’ll keep an eye out for any developments happening in any of the locations inside one of Douglasville most-shopped retail centers.
