After the closing of The Medicine Shoppe early in 2015, downtown Douglasville has lacked a locally owned pharmacy for folks who don’t want to hassle with the major retailers. A few months ago we reported a new pharmacy would be coming soon to the downtown area. After months of hard work and construction on the building located at 8446 Campbellton Street next to BB&T bank, Premier Drugstore opened recently. We’re excited to bring you this new local place for your prescriptions. Head pharmacist Bryan Green describes the new pharmacy as follows:

“We offer fast and friendly service and have prices comparable with the big stores like Kroger and Walmart pharmacy. Our focal point, besides great customer service, is our $5 generic price list. We offer 30 days’ supply on several generic medications like the Walmart list. We also offer free delivery to patients living within five miles of the store with some limitations. Besides regular pharmacy operations and over-the-counter medications and vitamins, we also offer a full line of $1 home goods, cleaning supplies, beauty supplies, and baby products similar to Dollar Tree or Dollar General. We hope to offer a convenient location since most people in the area are within walking distance to the store.”

Bryan is a Douglasville native and a graduate of Douglas County High School. He knows our community well and is ready to help you with your pharmacy and home good needs. From us here at the Douglasville Menu, welcome to Douglasville, Premier Drugstore!
