Many in Newnan have been curious about what is going on at the old Checkers located off Bullsboro Drive in Shenandoah Plaza.
Well, surprise, Newnan! It is going to reopen! General Manager Austin, who also operates the new Checkers in the Walmart Supercenter in Newnan, tells us that they are reopening because it was actually very successful. The team had wanted to experiment with something new, which in turn became opening a new restaurant inside the supercenter.
Checkers is currently working on their landscaping and fixing items inside, in preparation for the reopening. The restaurant plans to be opening by the 26th or 27th of September, so the wait won’t be long!
The second Checkers, located in the Walmart Supercenter, will remain open as the original location reopens.
Checkers is located in the Shenandoah Plaza off Bullsboro Drive in Newnan. The plaza also includes stores and restaurants such as Krystal, Taco Bell, Dollar General, and Big Lots.
