The East Coweta High School Indians and Newnan High School Cougars will face off for their annual cross-county rival match on Friday, November 4, held this year at East Coweta High’s Shoemake Stadium.
The Coweta County School System will be offering the use of school system buses to transport people to and from the East Coweta campus on Friday, starting at 5:30 p.m.
Shuttle bus service will be offered from two locations: Newnan fans are encouraged to park and ride at Poplar Road Elementary School and East Coweta fans are encouraged to park and ride at Lee Middle School. Both sites will be staffed by law enforcement for spectator security.
Buses will begin running at 5:30 p.m. on game night at both sites. Return trips will begin in the middle of the 3rd quarter.
Buses from both sites will drop-off on the East Coweta High School campus at the flag pole by the main entrance. Tickets will be available at the drop-off site.
“We are offering this service in an attempt to ease traffic congestion and make the game experience a more enjoyable one for fans,” said East Coweta Athletic Director Ken Kesselring.
