A local travel center will be transitioning to a new brand next month. We confirmed on Friday that the Hess/Wilco Travel Center at 95 Liberty Road, off I-20 at exit 26, has changed ownership and will become a Pilot Travel Center. According to Pilot Flying J’s PR firm, the transition is slated to occur on December 20. Commercial tax licenses under the new ownership have been issued by the City of Villa Rica for the station itself and the Subway located in the center. No word on how the change will affect Godfather’s Pizza and the Dunkin Express that are also part of the current travel plaza.
