A new BBQ restaurant plans to open soon in east Carrollton. Black-n-White LUFU BBQ is moving into the former Jones BBQ location at 819 Bankhead Highway near Lake Carroll. LUFU is an acronym for “love, understanding, food, and unity” which are values that owners Chip Crook and Carlton Ferguson are building the family-style restaurant around. The menu will feature various options of “meat-and-sides” plates, BBQ, stuffed burgers, loaded potatoes, homestyle desserts and more. The owners plan to open in the first week of December with operating hours being Wednesday-Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
