Alexander JROTC Raiders Place Third in State Competition!

The Alexander High School Raiders Mixed Team has worked very hard all year to take home 3rd place at the State Army JROTC Raider Competition held at Spalding High School on 29 October 2017.

Out of thirty schools and sixty teams, the Alexander Cougars dominated with 1st place in Tire Flip of 500lbs, 3RD place in Rope Bridge which cadets construct a bridge made of rope and must cross with a ten person team, and 5th place in Cross Country Rescue.

The team was lead by coach 1SG Mark Arnold and Cadet Captain Austin Sharp, Cadet Captain Michael Wayne, Cadet Captain Jayda Breiding, and Cadet Command Sergeant Major Andrew Herring.
