After a few months of renovations and improvements to one of Highway 5’s busiest convenience stores, RaceTrac on Highway 5 at Concourse Parkway is open again to travelers and locals alike. There’s a new look for the outside facade to match the newest RaceTrac locations, but the improvements will really be obvious inside. A new layout for the sales floor includes a frozen yogurt stand with toppings to match, an expanded hot foods section, an expanded beverage center, and larger restrooms. The Thornton Road location is undergoing the same renovations currently and will be open early in 2017. RaceTrac plans to open a location at Lee Road and Fairburn and is also planning for a replacement RaceTrac location on Fairburn Rd near I-20.
