Last month we reported that the old Hess/Wilco Travel Center at Liberty Road and I-20 would be transitioned to a Pilot Travel Center this month (Click here to read that story). At the time we did not know the fate of Godfather’s Pizza. We learned last week that the restaurant unfortunately was not in the transition plan and has officially closed. Subway and Dunkin Express have remained. No word on what will become of the pizza parlor’s former space.
