Here is the yummy news everyone has been waiting for! Construction documents were spotted over the weekend for a new Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen! The proposed 3,162 square-foot building will occupy this area of land just east of the former Verizon Wireless building. According to the planning and zoning department of Coweta County, the former Flower Drum is expected to be demolished.  Another Popeyes is being built just a few minutes up the road in Carrollton, Georgia, next to Aldi. In preparation for the Carrollton location, two businesses have been demolished as well. This particular Popeyes is located at 1485 GA Highway 34 in the White Oak Shopping Center area of Newnan. Once construction starts, you could expect Popeyes to open within 72 days. Keep watching The Newnan Menu for hiring information. Special thanks to Coweta County and the city of Newnan for your help on this particular article!
