The Carroll County Humane Society held a ribbon cutting ceremony for its new headquarters location at 102 Tuggle Street in Carrollton. The group is preparing to host an Open House on March 19 from 2-4 p.m. for local residents to learn more about CCHS programs and how they can become invovled.
The non-profit organization was founded in 1970 and reorganized in 1982, providing numerous programs to benefit animals and owners alike.
In addition to foster and adoption programs, other services include educational programing and materials, a pet food bank, low cost spray/neuter, an angel fund providing limited financial assistance for non-routine veterinary care, and much more.
