Alexander High School had an outstanding performance at the State Army JROTC Drill Competition held at Griffin High School on March 18, 2017.

The exhibition team worked extremely this year mastering precise movements and complicated drill rifle executions. The drill routines are executed without any drill commands which makes it all the more challenging for the cadets.

The team was lead by coach LTC Sharon Franklin and Cadet Captain Alex Evans who brought his team to victory by achieving the second and fourth place billet wins at State level for the Alexander Cougar Battalion.

The Platoon Drill Rifle Exhibition Team took home 2nd place and the Squad Exhibition Team took home 4th out of 30 other schools around the State!! The teams have worked very hard and have made everyone proud of the accomplishments they’ve made this season.
