The University of West Georgia will be hosting their annual Spring Preview Day next Sunday, April 23rd! Preview Day, being one of the biggest events for prospective students at UWG, gives students and their families a chance to see the campus, speak with different departments, learn about life on campus and take a peak at the beautiful residence halls. Each student gets an incredible opportunity to explore UWG’s excellent academic programs and to learn all about the different organizations on campus.
One of the tracks that UWG offers during Preview Day is for the Hispanic/Latino population. The Hispanic Preview Day track is an amazing way for any Hispanic/Latino student to see what UWG has to offer and to interact with other students that recognize the importance of preserving the Hispanic/Latino culture on campus.
The Hispanic Preview Day schedule involves two different sessions in which the prospective students get to interact with current UWG students, and admissions representative while the other session allows the parents and family members to join in a parent discussion with the current Hispanic/Latino Representative.
The parent session includes an informational session in Spanish and a Q&A afterwards so parents can feel comfortable addressing any questions they may have! Attending the Hispanic/Latino Track at Preview day is a wonderful way for students to experience UWG and to see what the life of a West Georgia student is truly like!
