Dairy Queen Comes to New Georgia

The New Georgia community will soon be able to enjoy blizzards and dipped cones. Construction will soon begin on a Dairy Queen Grill & Chill at 7953 Villa Rica Highway in front of The Village at New Georgia/Publix shopping center. The 2,622-square-foot restaurant will feature a drive-thru and a small patio. Access to the parking lot will be off the driveways into the shopping center, and the building entrance will face Villa Rica Highway. It is expected that the restaurant may open sometime before the end of the year. This is in addition to the Dairy Queen already under construction off Bankhead Highway in west Villa Rica (Read that story here).
